What Kind Predominant Thoughts & Feelings Run Your day?
I will try to keep this short.
Feeling Group 1/ Bucket 1: Hurry, Worry, Stressed, Hustling, Probing, Acting, Anxious, Jealous, Keeping up appearances, Busy or trying to look busy, fearful, Complaining, Depressed, Unsatisfied, Trying to prove your worth, Acting serious
Feeling Group 2/ Bucket 2: Love, Happy, Joyful, Relaxed, Comfortable, Satisfied, Just Normal to be yourself.
Now what does it take to feel a certain way?
Monetarily it’s 0 --- it’s just a Choice.
A feeling is not dependent on a certain person, event or consequence. You make a choice and tell yourself what you want to feel whether Group 1 or Group 2.
Remember when we used to go to buy tomatoes from the Sabzi Wala (The vegetable vendor) or the farmer market.
We pick up the tomato that is red, shiny, without any marks or worms and is taut. If that qualifies it signals the brain it is fresh, nutritious and tasty and it goes in our bag.
What does it take- Nothing but a Choice.
The moment one lets go of the belief that a feeling is independent of any achievement or person or circumstance and makes a choice that is a massive step towards being one complete happy human.
Are you willing to let go of that belief? Do try and see.
That being said, some of the bad stuff happens for real and may require medical intervention and Karma is also a real thing but there is hope.
Start by picking something from Bucket 2 just for today.
