I do not know their names.
And yet, I know their prayers.
In a sea of bodies, sounds, chants, and blood-soaked vows…
One hand rose—trembling slightly, not out of fear, but surrender.
One forehead leaned forward—not to receive a mark, but a moment.
I extended my hand.
But let me be honest—it was not my hand.
It was the hand of something far older than me.
Older than scriptures.
Older than customs.
Older than man’s need for validation.
That moment was not “mine.”
It was given to me.
What you see in this image is not a ritual. It is not even a ceremony.
It is a crossing.
Where karma kneels.
And dharma responds.
Where pain becomes petition.
And Grace says:
Come, child. I’ve been waiting.
I do not know what I gave them—maybe just a pinch of ash.
But I know what they gave me—the privilege of being a witness.
To a truth that cannot be marketed.
To a fire that cannot be dimmed.
To a calling that cannot be fabricated.
Some see a crowd.
I see a thousand lifetimes folding into a single instant.
Some see color.
I see sacrifice.
Some see a leader.
I see a servant.
Of Light.
Of Law.
Of the invisible thread that connects every longing to its rightful destiny.
And so, to those who were there that night…
Whether you received something or not—you were seen.
Whether your eyes met mine or not—you were felt.
Whether you touched my feet or stood in the back—you were held.
Because the 9x12 Way is not about me.
It is about you.
And what is possible when you finally believe—
that even in a crowd of a thousand…
your soul is never anonymous.
