First and foremost, I wish all of you a very Happy Chinese New Year of the Horse 2026.
May this heralding of the New Year bring you the seven blessings of:
- Health
- Wealth
- Love
- Abundance
- Peace
- Serenity
- Vision
Now that the greeting is out of the picture, I am not the one to give the cringeworthy suggestion of putting the picture of seven horses riding inside your house as per some so-called Feng Shui masters.
The Year of the Horse has two main deductions.

Deduction One: Energy Has Changed
The animal energy shifts today. The energy of the Snake recedes and the energy of the Horse begins.
You must now make your own conclusion:
How will you recalibrate your approach to life according to this change of energy?
The snake energy never vanishes. It hides in plain sight.
The snake rests at the base of your spine.
When positive — it is Kundalini.
When negative — it becomes the double-headed snake of Manthara and Maya — disillusionment and bad luck.
The only place where the snake behaves perfectly is on the neck of Lord Shiva — where it becomes an ornament.
Think deeply.

Deduction Two: Carriage Horse or Race Horse?
Once you decide how to adapt to the new energy, ask yourself one question:
Do you want to be a carriage horse
or
a race horse?
That is enough contemplation for the New Year.
Among thousands of greetings, nobody will ask you this.
Express a little gratitude for that clarity.

If you take the laws of thermodynamics and energy seriously — and they have stood the test of time — then your primary task is to assess and calculate the horse energy within yourself.
From there comes the golden formula:
MY HORSE POWER = 9
Not static cut-copy-paste pictures of horses running inside the house — but real horsepower that moves you forward.

The 7 Horsepowers to Be Harnessed Today
Now going back to the title — the seven horses I am speaking about — I am speaking about the seven horsepowers in the following order:
क — कर्म (Work)
ख — खाना (Food / Energy)
ग — गहना (Assets / Wealth Consolidation)
घ — घर (Stability / Shelter)
न — नाम (Reputation)
And deliberately not ण.
That alphabet carries deeper power. Its first layer can only be imparted after assessment of पात्रता — eligibility — by a Guru.
The sixth horse:
The Word of the Guru
The seventh horse:
The Wisdom of the Ultimate Guru — Lord Shiva
Stick to the fundamentals.
If you reverse the order — EMI ghosts will haunt you.
If you build wealth before discipline — instability enters.
If you seek name before work — confusion begins.
This is not motivation.
This is structure.
This is Bhagavad Gita in daily economics.

Mahashivratri — The Living Proof
This video is the answer to one of the questions asked by a visitor during the Mahashivratri program.
I speak extempore. Impromptu. On the point. No fillers. By the grace of Lord Shiva.
On Mahashivratri, two days back on the 15th of February, it was amazing to see devotees of Mahadev congregate at a particular spot despite many limitations.
From the Naths to Nagas to simple householders — more than 15,000 souls gathered.
All enriched me immensely.
I did not take people inside the cave.
My job was to bring them outside the cave —
the cave of confusion,
the cave of mis-sequenced priorities,
the cave of fear.
