Wish All a very Happy Gandhi Jayanti- The Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

As I ruminate and contemplate more about Gandhi I have nothing but a growing sense of awe and wonderment at this phenomena.
But First
I congratulate all of you who are wonderful law abiding, tax paying citizens, hardworking and taking care of self and families in the most amazing way. Congratulations and Thank You.
Most of Us know Gandhi Ji because of Non Violence- Right?
Good.
When You read and contemplate on the Maha Bharat one of the Greatest Learnings in that is -
Revenge is the purest Emotion
And Then Gandhi's Way is Non Violence
Why This contradiction?
When we mention the Word " Violence" many people think of Blood, Fighting, Gory consequences, Guns and Weapons.
Ok No issues.
We are honest, Hardworking, Law Abiding citizens making great sacrifices every day- What will we know of Revenge and Violence.
Yes.. Yes.. Lets see some examples and you can customise and extrapolate to your life:
Ah the pervert joy of a fellow employee making a mistake and getting trashed by the manager in front of whole team- Is Not Violence or Revenge.
The Delight of Catching the house help lying through the teeth and bringing that up now and then with a parting shot and advice- Is Not Violence or Revenge.
Giving somebody the silent treatment and acting as if they are the worst scum of earth- Is Not Violence or Revenge.
Getting down the Car and giving an earful to the motorist who brushed the vehicle - Is Not Violence or Revenge.
Worst Still- Suffering in Silence and thinking that one is not bothering the world- Is not Violence or Revenge.
So you get the drift but let me stay on Gandhi Ji.
You see this word " Non Violence" is not an apt word. Think of these examples above and the learning of Mahabharata.
Today Early Morning( see pic in mosaic) I viewed from a distance an interesting development.
I saw a Lady cleaning the porch of her house and to keep her 2/3 year old toddler occupied she gave him also a broom.
All fine both appeared happing sweeping.
The Boy seemed to have a sense of achievement as well as Joy Holding the Broom( Jhadu) as a sword.
Then
The Mother Stepped out of the Gate to clean the front area and closed the gate for the kids safety.
The Kid instantly dropped the broom and started crying and shouting.
The Mother tried to focus on completing her job- But then the Kid Dropped the Broom and Held the Gate Rods and started shaking them Violently.
Dhang Dhang Dhang.
Before the Mother could react and elderly passerby waved to the kid in the most endearing way but the Kid... Dhang Dhang Dhang.
As soon as the Passerby went away to a reasonable distance I heard a war like cry from the mother.
She opened the Gate door and literally exploded. A good solid kaboom right hand landed on the boy's head with Force- Ka Boom.
A 3 year Old Boy Shaking the Gate as if it were the rods of a prison and wanting to get out.
We are not Violent or Revengeful.
So Now- There is nothing called as Non Violence.
Gandhi's way best described as of Now for me is " Passive Resistance "
A Couple of Days Back I indulged in the most peculiar contradictory Behaviour that would have massively confused established corporate and Business Practices.
However In the end of that situation in the most Genteel and Genuine way I said- Mere Andar Ke Bhoot Ko Na Jagao- Don't wake up the monster in me.
You have an established life pattern that is giving you some sense of Sanity and that is ok but do understand that justifying Violence and Revenge By using words like Tantrum, Conflict, Anger, Irritation , Mental Illness and Ego etc.does not turn a Bat into a Peacock.
My Request and Prayer:
First be a little less relentless on yourself- I said that during the Tedx talk also.
Be Less Violent and Severe on yourself.
Make it an ongoing, aware, conscious Practice and see your world transform and also the world of the So called Loved ones around you. My Prayers and Sincere wishes for you.
For Revolutionaries and Statesmen
The Aim of Every War is Peace. Wage war but for right reasons and Reasonable outcomes.
For Students
You know what you know and often Quote: Ketu is the planet of Self Realisation.
Read my thoughts above and think Of the Image of Ketu.
