Dear Guruji do you have any regrets in Life?
Yes.. One
What is that?
I wasn’t able to be beside my Grandmother in her last moments despite entering India after a long time.
Was it because you were busy and couldn’t see her in that state.
No- I did not want her to see how weak and sick I had become
Interview Over.
The Above was an exchange during an interview. The Journalist was a seasoned professional quite unlike the sensationalists we encounter today. Maybe it stuck a raw nerve in him too but that’s ok.
This Vid is of 2017 when Didu was already 93 and I was visiting the small town of ajmer- My Birthplace for approx 48 hours.
As is our way- She ensured that I Had was enthralled by a classic music session followed by the most sumptuous spread of food- meticulously cooked and laid on the table by herself- At 93. Each spoon each fork in the right place- Not a cm here or there.
She passed away in 2023 and I did not go to see her- A Regret. Somebody bitter with her the whole life and who avoided her -did- Karma.
We all have some regrets in life.
Regret= Disappointment / Sadness/ Repentance over something.
Some examples:
I should not have said that.
How did I miss that?
Why I didn’t capitalise on that?
How did I hurt him/ her

The Brain wiring is a particularly complicated thing. Some people stay in regret mode because staying in that state releases some kind of chemicals in their brain that makes them
get some pleasure out of pain.

The Less Regrets you will have the better- You are not God- So stop trying to be one- QP
