Today is Friday — the day of Venus, the planet of beauty, prosperity, refinement and grace.

And sometimes Venus reminds us of a simple truth.
The real wealth of a teacher is not money, fame or recognition.
The real wealth of a teacher is the success of his students.
Today’s Mentor Moment comes from a photograph that was recently sent to me.
In this image, Mr. Sanjeev Surya Dev Singh is holding a copy of my book The Secrets of Jyotish Gems.
Alongside this photograph comes an important public development.
Mr. Sanjeev Singh has recently registered a record victory in the Dhanbad mayoral elections, becoming the Mayor of Dhanbad - Bohat Aashirvad- Sada Vijayi Bhava- Aage Bohat Kaam Hai.

A mentor may not always stand beside you in every meeting, every campaign or every decision.
But the ideas, the discipline and the values that you absorb continue to work silently in the background.
That is the true meaning of mentorship.
Over the years I have received hundreds and thousands of such photographs — students, readers, clients and friends holding my book in different parts of the world.
Each photograph becomes a meaningful chapter in the evolving story of the Gemstone Universe ecosystem.
These are not staged moments.
These are organic moments of connection.
And when a reader or student goes on to achieve something meaningful in society, it naturally becomes a moment of quiet satisfaction for any teacher.
So today’s Mentor Moment is a simple but heartfelt acknowledgement.
