Making it to Top Thought Leaders of Business Today- What it means for me- Associates & The Gemstoneuniverse 
At the very outset I am thankful to Business today for featuring me at the very top of Top thought leaders in the Emerging world.
Even though this is a lofty title and an even more loftier write up- My philosophy is simple - Deliver Value and Ensure a Win- Win for all parties involved.
As I see lost people focussing on all inane stuff as well as activities with low to nil returns- Imagine spending time with a plumber for 40 mins or exchanging several emails with a visa office or telling me the same story again and again etc etc- I Have literally been begging folks to pivot and scale and that is to maintain the sanctity and performance of the Gemstoneuniverse ecosystem.
When the Business today team reached out they wanted a story around “ VISION”. Mine and Gemstoneuniverse vision is pretty simple- Empower Individuals to leverage their “ NOW” and move them to higher levels. That is a big thing. You have to leverage your now- The Present.
I will share 3 examples so that you get the drift
When an international 5 star property with 780 rooms- 20 people occupancy and a tired and trimmed staff strength of 37 was contemplating of shutting down at the height of the pandemic - I took the senior staff for a walk- I still walk sometimes. And I asked them - Tell me if this property becomes a Ghost property what will happen. Let someone draw estimates of faulty plumbing, blocked drainage, fungus and pest infestation, rotten wall paper for one floor and then multiply that with 27 floors. By evening we had a number and the Question- What next. My answer was with a question- Do you have the will and firepower to hold fort for 6 months. The Big Cat’s answer- Yes- With your guidance and support. They did pretty ok and now thriving. I will not get into the nitty gritty of other intricate problematic stuff but you get the drift. Today we work with the same passion and get the “ WIN- WIN” outcome for individuals and organisations from Aerospace to Commercial Aviation to Hospitality to High Fashion all the time due to our vision and guiding philosophy of Deo Amabiles Et Hominibus- Pleasing to God and To Men.

Another person who I love dearly and had dreams in their eyes of a fruitful partnership business- I facilitated everything - including getting a property in a super location, protection, legal documentation etc. Store operational in record time. Store and business closed also in record time - Why? I thought it was best to learn the complexities of business, and the difference between dreams and doing and that would save me a lot of time- That I could allocate to more deserving and pressing issues.
I am skipping the 3rd Because My resources are now required somewhere else.
As the ROMANTIKA Blue Sapphire ring awed all from Basel to ASEAN- I was quite surprised that the people who I thought would be most excited for such a prestigious and rare recognition had NO - Yes - O response as business’s and individuals were going GAGA Over it- Well That’s Life! Whatever ones horizon’s, experience only that shapes their vision. I am saying that because the Business Today Write Up speaks about the vision of 5 people and one of the phenomenal individual says: Don’t compete- Dominate. That is the simile of the JCB wrecker I have been giving for years- Did I or Did I not?
