I Was Busy… Until Time Left Me Behind- The Big TCS Layoffs- AI lowers retirement Age.
Once upon a time, I was always “busy.”
Not productive. Not peaceful. Not even paid well.
Just busy.
Now everything has changed barring the PAID PART.
At the very outset- best wishes, blessings and greetings for the Putrada Ekadashi today & may the Lord of the three worlds Lord Narayana-Bhagwan Mahavishnu, my dearest boss bless all with health, wealth, and abundance.
Meet Mr. Darpan Iyer( name changed) — a middle-level executive in a PSU bank. He had two mobile phones, three group chats, four direct managers, and zero minutes to think.
He had mastered the art of appearing busy—a colonial skill perfected in countless Indian government offices and rose to be the branch manager of a bank in India- a true middle class dream come true.
He had spreadsheets for meetings, meetings to discuss those spreadsheets, and ‘follow-ups’ for the follow-ups.
But what he didn’t have was peace, prosperity or purpose.
One day, the layoffs came.
A TCS-style bloodbath swept his department.
HR handed him a termination letter. He stared at it, confused.
“But I was busy…”
They told him: “Yes, but you weren’t relevant.”
Enter: The 9x12 Way
That’s when Darpan came to me after a hospital stint.
He didn’t need sympathy.
He needed clarity.
And I gave him exactly that.
First, I showed him his real enemy:
Not the AI.
Not the system.
But his own illusion of importance.
We started with the Sanskrit principle of Kaala-Shastra — Astrology is the science of Time.
We audited his time like a surgeon audits vital signs.
We removed the parasitic “busy energy.”
We taught him to work not hard—but aligned.
He retooled, restarted, and within 8 months, he launched a FinTech startup serving ex-employees over 40 looking for retraining and meaningful employment- two months ago him and his team

Inspired and Happy- Loved it.
He now earns 7x more, sleeps better, and most importantly, never says, “I’m too busy.”

Day before yesterday i bailed a fellow country man out- him in near delirium- abandoned by most- Charged in a foreign country of mugging a tra-ns- Gender individual of the night. A tough day and tough night for me too.
Before this- i did not know him personally in any capacity but the duty of helping out a fellow countryman in an alien land made me forget my pain - temporarily. God is great.
This was still better than seeing a school mate employed as a doorman of a building- a couple of years back. His qualification- B Com MBA.

Time Is Money.
Time Is Karma.
Time Is God.
And if you don’t honour it, it will leave you behind.
We are now entering a new world where the new retirement age is 45.
AI doesn’t care about your attendance, your excuses, or your fake files.
Only relevance, creativity, and conscious alignment will remain.

So don’t be busy.
Be precise. Be aligned.
Be 9x12.
Because the science of light and the science of time—AstroGemology and Jyotish—are your most powerful tools in an age where machines are replacing mediocre minds.
And no matter how advanced the AI is,
it cannot replace a human being in divine alignment.

Do remember that and those people who think that being classified as busy is equal to being important and relevant are in a pipedream, stay away from such because you have only one life and a lot to do.
