Genial Greetings from the Chief Of Defence Staff & Understanding the Power of a Deterrent 
Being “ GEMSTONEUNIVERSE”- Understanding the Significance, Power & The Associated Responsibility
Very Happy to receive warm Greetings from the CDS- Chief Of Defence Staff(CDS) of the Indian Armed Forces General Anil Chauhan.
A Highly Decorated and Awarded General He has had a distinguished career and has been awarded The PVSM- Param Vishist Seva Medal by the President of India.
Amongst many other major operations- General Chauhan oversaw the retaliatory air strikes in 2019 and the Key- Operation Sunrise- A Joint India- Myanmar counter- Insurgency offensive.
Today General Chauhan is the Chief and Heads the Indian Armed Forces consisting of distinguished divisions of the Indian Military, Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy.
Now , When you mull on the above I cannot but help admire the “ The Man” in charge of the Men, Machines, Munitions and Matters, Morals, Morale, Might, Mind, Motherland ( 9M- This is for another day) of the Country & The Armed Forces that Keep nearly 2 Billion Country Men and Our Borders safe.
There are Great Gems of wisdom to learn from Chauhan Saheb.
No wonder he has the pedigree of the 11th Gorkha Rifles- My admiration, association and Love for the Gorkhas and their loyalty and fearlessness is well known.
The Country is in Good Solid Hands As I reported in September 2023- where in a chance visit to a remote part of India- The Commanding Officer & Colonel upon Asking Sab Theek( All alright) responded with Sab Battalion Tayyar Hai Guruji Saheb ( All Battalions are battle Ready Guruji Sir)
That being said, Allow me to share what is Unique our Great Country- India- Given the sheer size and diversity- We are the only economic and cultural Giant- Who Have never invaded any other nation- In fact all international agencies including the UN recognises, admires and mentions of the great assistance provided by the Indian Armed Forces in operations worldwide for establishing peace and order in wars, conflict and anti terrorism ops in which we had/ have no direct interest.
That is because right from Field Marshall Manekshaw to CDS General Chauhan we know the strength of a Deterrent- As we know about Gem Therapy and we respect our traditions and legacy.

When you are in charge of the country’s entire defence, armaments and armed forces even a single movement can be telling.

Now you know what happens when I see loitering, lethargic, indecisive people with grotesque movements making unnecessary sounds such as crudely closing the refrigerator doors etc- That activates both what I have in my arsenal and also my deterrent- Not Good- Not Good At all.
