Some days deeply and overwhelmingly move me—and today is one of those days.
This beautiful couplet from the timeless film Soni Mahiwal profoundly encapsulates my life’s work and what Gemstone Universe stands for.
The phrase, “let us start your first lesson by invoking the sacred name, Bismillah,” reminds us of a truth I’ve often shared:
the word holds power, and it existed even before the world took form.
The sacred sound, the invocation—these are not mere rituals; they are the acknowledgment of cosmic principles that guide us.
The second stanza, however, takes us deeper.
Gold, even with all its allure, is finite in value; but the earth—our foundation, our origin—is beyond price. It’s the earth that grounds us, that anchors us, giving us balance and blessings of gravity.
We come from this earth and shall eventually return to it.
And it is from this earth that we are blessed to work with the finest of its treasures—its rarest jewels and gemstones, embodying its strength and timeless energy.
God Blessed us to work with Gems & not stones and that carries a huge responsibility and it should be reflected in our actions to conduct to appearnce,
Gemstone Universe is an extension of this profound truth.
In our journey, we distinguish gemstones from mere stones.
We recognize the divine energy and purpose they hold.
It is a sacred responsibility, an art of discernment, to work with these “high borns” of Mother Earth.
Words alone, however, may fail to capture the essence of this feeling. This is not something to merely explain—it is an emotion, an experience, a connection to be felt and shared.
Yesterday, someone asked me, “Guruji, how do you respond to people you hate?”
I replied, “Let alone hating people, I don’t even have the time to notice them.”
This is the value and importance of time in my life—as a practitioner of the sacred science of astrology and the enduring values of Sanatan Dharma.
A Tribute to Miss Poonam Dhillon
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the evergreen star, Miss Poonam Dhillon, seen here at her radiant best.
To sing praises for her would fall short, as Miss Poonam epitomizes grace.
Her acting repertoire speaks volumes—whether portraying the innocent girl next door, the high-fashion beauty queen, or the eternal lover. Her presence, her elegance—these need no embellishment.
For me, her portrayal in Soni Mahiwal is iconic, especially in the song, “नाम खुदा का ले ज़रा सबक शुरू कर बिस्मिल्लाह.” Her performances, be it “ए सागर की लहरों” or “तू है वहां,” all resonate with timeless beauty, but this song remains closest to my heart.
