Ganesha Visarjan From Nav Nidhi Ganesha to Radha Ashtami — A Journey of Faith & Farewell
On the sacred day of Radha Ashtami, 31st August 2025, as the rains poured, the currents of the mighty Chao Phraya River swelled, and thunder rolled in the sky, something extraordinary happened.
Despite the inclement weather, rough waters, and constant rainfall, hearts were unwavering. Indians, Thais, and even foreigners came together — united beyond caste, creed, race, or religion — to bid farewell to Nav Nidhi, Nav Nirbhaya Ganesha, conceived in the 9x12 Way sacred mud from 9 sources and water from 12 sources.
At one moment, the Indian flag was unfurled upon the boat, voices rose spontaneously with “Vande Mataram”, and women sang in devotion:
Sujalam, Suphalam, Malayajashitalam, Mataram.
The air was alive with love for Bharat Mata and reverence for Ganapati Bappa.
In the background echoed the timeless aarti:
“Shendur Lal Chadhayo, Achcha Gajmukho…”
A hymn that has crossed centuries, cultures, and continents.
The river rocked the vessel dangerously, and some whispered in fear. Yet, an 8-year-old child’s innocent voice pierced the moment of doubt:
“Guruji hai na… sab sambhal lenge. He’s standing at the front. Nothing will happen.”
I stood silently at the hull, focused on the exact spot for immersion, knowing the eyes of faith rested not on me but on the Divine.
When the moment came, the immersion was effortless. Constructed in the sacred geometry of the 9x12 Way, the murti floated gracefully, and in precisely three minutes, descended into the depths of the river — returning to serve His Divine Parents, Shiva and Parvati.
It was an oxymoron of emotions:
A heavy heart bidding farewell, yet joy unbounded in surrender.
To say goodbye is hard, but in that very moment of parting, the oneness of devotion and humanity was luminous.
You know that several things are going right when the Photographer starts to be the water man and the man carrying umbrella and the security detail and guards, having the license to kill distributing raincoats and food. God is great.
Now- the important thing is through this post. I would like to express the gratitude to the fan who has made this video taking random clips from different people and stitching them together, but what is the 9:12 A is the so called version done by my Photographer is in the stories.
Now you can compare both the versions and tell me which one works better for you ?
