Today, I had the honour of teaching a Masterclass with the International Gem Society - Africa Chapter and leading industry experts on the rare and radiant subjects of Fluorescence & Phosphorescence in Rubies.
Light and colour are profound subjects and to share and teach knowledge to the very best is nothing short of a blessing.
To get one’s brain picked by the very best in the world is a rare opportunity. This happened along with discussion of the find of a new ruby deposit in central africa- with a colour- rivalling those cherry’s from Winza Tanzania.. The difference

Wonderful samples.. Wonderful People.. and a bit of early housekeeping too before I did this short intense session in the Jewelry Trade Center.
