“At the very outset, my deepest gratitude to all those who remembered me on my birthday and reached out with heartfelt wishes.”
Many of you, despite my request to come empty-handed, still sent me flowers—each a riot of colours, a burst of affection.
So today, I ask you this easy contemplation:
“Does a flower give you more joy when it is alive or when it is dead?”
Reflect on the last time you held a living flower, gently caressed its petals, and drew in its fragrance…
AND
Now recall the last powerful memory of flowers in your life—
Was it at a celebration? A ritual? A farewell?
AND NOW
Compare the above two situations with your ideals, beliefs, perceptions
With
What really is?
Flowers, even when they are dying, still bring us joy.
They smile till their last breath.
Humans, alas, sometimes struggle to smile even when fully alive.
So my simple prayer for you:
“May your life be like a flower—fragrant, colourful, gentle… and may you never forget to bloom, even on your hardest days.”
And remember:
Where is the time to hate,
When there is so little time to love?”
And some of you are already on the path of phenomenal.. But is always worthwhile to go back to one of my earlier contemplations:
Is love a fruit or a flower?
I wish you well.. Thanks for the flowers.. They made me feel alive even though they were dead .. What about you?
