Many years ago, I was visited by a 55-year-old Iyengar Brahmin gentleman from Pittsburgh, USA — traditional, slim, disciplined.
The kind of man who wakes up at 4 a.m. to do Sandhyavandanam, eats strictly sattvic food, plays tennis for an hour daily, never touched alcohol, never tasted non-veg, and lived by the book.
But when he walked into my chamber, the first thing I saw was a fully flawed, junk Yellow Sapphire on his finger.
I paused and said:
“Before I even look at your chart… I request you to go straight to the hospital and do a full lipid profile, cholesterol, and triglyceride test.”
The next day, he came back with disbelief written all over his face.
He said:
“Guruji, when the doctor saw my report, he looked at me and asked — Have you eaten six full cows before coming here? Because your body is floating in fat.”
Further tests revealed three major heart blockages.
He was rushed into surgery, a stent was placed, and thankfully, he survived.
When he was discharged, he came to me again — this time with his wife and two children who had flown in from the U.S.
He bent down and touched my feet — tears in his eyes.
He said,
“Guruji, I don’t know how to thank you. You hadn’t even begun your consultation, and yet you saved my life.
Had this heart attack happened in the U.S., I would’ve been in financial ruin. My children start college next year. You saved more than one life.”
That day, I removed the sapphire immediately.
And only after clearing the karma it had caused, did I initiate his true gem therapy journey.
