When the blind is lead by a deaf in a busy street and the responsibility for their safety is given to the dumb- what do we have- a society, democracy or an arrangement.
Good morning! Wishing you a great day ahead. Saturn's energies are reaching a crescendo with his birth anniversary tomorrow. The planetary energies are conducive enough to address difficult issues directly and to contemplate the real lessons of Saturn with blessed protection.
Let's take a trip down memory lane to 1988. The centerpiece was the 100-meter final race at the Seoul Olympics. I was glued to the television, eagerly waiting to see what would unfold.
The camera panned out to the race lineup, and all eyes were on two individuals: Carl Lewis, the so-called greatest athlete of all time from the United States, and his challenger, Ben Johnson from Canada.
This was dubbed the "Race of the Century." As Ben Johnson took his stance with his mighty deltoids popping out, intensity in his red eyes, and throbbing thigh muscles, I knew the world record would be broken, and Carl Lewis would no longer be the greatest athlete after this race.
Ten seconds later, the world record was shattered! Ben Johnson crossed the finish line in a pose that mocked Carl Lewis and the world, showcasing true power.
That image of Ben Johnson touching the ribbon with his chest, looking back at Lewis, his raised hand with the finger of Jupiter pointing towards the heavens, and a demeanor that screamed, "This is no competition!" is iconic.
However, 24 hours later, Ben Johnson was no longer a hero. He tested positive for Stanozolol, a banned anabolic steroid, and the world labeled him a cheat who had let down his community and country. Overnight- from national hero- to national shame. a life of pain and sacrifice became zero
So, what happened? The focus shifted from athletic achievement to morality, race, respect, community, and politics. This kind of shift happens all the time. you can minus the F too if you want:

Sometime later, Ben Johnson was coaching royalty from the Middle East. Carl Lewis went on to have a normal, predictable career, checking off most of the "good stuff," but was later stripped of the public's perceived title of "greatest athlete of all time" and was also accused of doping.
I must say that both Ben and Carl are very dear to me- both of them champions- both of them very inspiring.
Carl even sent across a very nice video message a couple of years back. I'll try to find it and share it if I can.
But the story is that Ben really suffered, staying in the shadows because of a perceived reality to save trouble for his mother and his community – a very big punishment.
Yesterday, in our evening *satsang*, a perky little Yankee, totally sold on motivational videos and the so-called business of coaching, said, "Why fit in when you are born to stand out?"
My reply shocked him because the example I quoted really hit home, and he was quiet for the rest of the evening.
When leaving, he said, "I am now very scared, Guruji, because of the tremendous amount of negative karma I might have generated due to my selective interpretation of life philosophy, and the amount of people who have followed it, and the money that I have earned from consultations and those e-books are nothing but me actually helping people along to their prisons."
In the same session, I said, "Whatever I speak, I speak from real-time experiences that I have had myself and not from a Godly state of nirvana or the sacred books.
One of my wonderful coaches when I was really into cricket was a very fine gentleman by the name of Mr. Prem Singh. I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for him.
So, the story is, one fine early morning, when I was bowling at the nets, he came quietly to me and said, "You need to reduce your run-up and your bowling speed by 50%."
This was quite alarming for me because aren't we taught that the fast bowler has to bowl fast? I asked him why, and he said, "It is for the safety of others, but this is also a coach's directive." basically an ORDER.
In the evening, I caught up with him at a tea stall, and after five minutes of uncomfortable silence, I just looked at him, and he said to me, "It is for their safety, and it is for your safety too. I leave this to your judgment." Ok coach- I understand now- Thank You.
Exactly a year later- he asked me to give up my selection in the State Cricket team so that someone could get that certificate, apply in the sports quota, and get a railways- Government Job. i understand that too now coach and thank you.
Most of us have a very simplistic view of life, especially those who haven't had vast life experience or haven't met or interacted with people of a different level.
Common perceptions are that the world is full of nepotism and that those who have the resources, backing, and finance are given a chance over really deserving people.
I remember that in one of the Humans of Gemstone Universe sessions, there was an opinion from a colleague on the same lines, about many deserving cricketers who may have lost the opportunity to play at the highest level because of these so-called problems.
But I did correct that perception, and I said that playing in the nets or on the ground with a familiar set of friends is very different than playing on the center stage.
You only truly understand pressure when you are on a stage against a formidable opponent, watched by thousands of eyes who have no time to understand or even bother about why you don't perform well or win the contest.
They won't be interested in knowing that you suffered from nepotism, have a fever, or didn't have resources. For the person experiencing it, that feeling is quite unnerving, and most people perish and cannot have sustained success because their perception has been incorrect all along, and they have never actually faced true rivalry or competition.
Another example of the same thing would be the classical, predictable characterization and caricature of the police and police forces as depicted in the movies.
There's a public perception that the police are corrupt, but let me tell you: the police are not paid to be honest, kind, or good.
The police are paid to prevent crime and damage and bring those who commit crimes to justice. For that, sometimes they have to think and behave like criminals.
If you've actually seen the crime that happens on the streets, you'll agree with one of my thoughts: if, in a hypothetical or imaginary situation, there were no policing for one hour (if the government announced there would be no policing for one hour), we might not have a next-door neighbor, let alone a country, after that hour.
So, that begs the question: are you really independent, or do you like the *kind* of so-called independence that you have?
One must understand that you are bound by your own shadow, whether you are enlightened or have mastered the Vedas or the Upanishads. The fact of the matter remains that the shadow will not leave you, and that shadow is of Saturn.
Saturn wants you to be factual and actual, but *your* validation needs to come across as kind and intellectual, and that is you making a prison for yourself and causing much suffering for yourself as well as for others.
Saturn is not causing your suffering; your selective opinion is.
So, that brings us to the title: is your life partner a parrot in a cage, or a cage in a parrot? What are you? And if you are either the parrot or the cage, you are running a Karma shop where you are creating and distributing pain for free in the name of morality, just to seek validation.
Imagining reality at an epic scale is a gift given to you by the education system, similar people around you, and the media.
The suffering will continue until you look at yourself squarely in the mirror or become friendly with your shadow. My question to you is: if love is really pure, real, natural, and heavenly, why do you restrict it? Why do you try to control it?
Isn't that a contradiction that is also Saturn's karma?
But that being said, if everybody really became free, then the industry called "divorce" would vanish, there would be no prenup shell agreements, there would be no spy detectives, there would be no financial planners, and there would be no equally suffering people coming across as messiahs to give you advice about love or anything else.
When extraordinary people try their very best to remain ordinary, it is not for validation; it is to preserve a bigger ecosystem. But isn't that also generating karma?
Allow me to expand on independence for you as Saturn would like. Practicing independence in this way will ensure that you are on the right karmic path and not creating new suffering and new negative karma every single second.
The word "independence" is a 12-letter word, which signifies the path of the Guruji Shri Arnav (9 x 12 = way), and essentially means:
Intrinsic nature demands: Pati (peace), elegance, non-judgmental decisions, empowering natural character to evolve.
So, you may take a tiger and keep it in a cage and display it for entertainment after drugging it, but you must remember that it is a tiger.
Even though it may meekly comply with all that you believe, you knows in your heart that it can, in one instant on someday, really display that it is a tiger despite all the limiting chains you have put around it.
Saturn is real-life limitations as well as past-life karma. I had written an extensive piece called "Punished and Given" - the nine combinations of why negative karma happens, leading to birth and then subsequent problems in life. Do search for and read about it.
Tomorrow is the Maha Shani Yagya and Homa, and we are conducting rituals to gain blessings from Saturn and have the courage to call a spade a spade, seeking the blessings of clarity of thought and steel in our character to at least *start* trying the process of *not* seeking validation from others and *not* trying to be always good and kind in the eyes of others.
I said we are seeking blessings to *start* trying that. I do not boil the ocean in one second, but I *can* do it. Lets start trying for a change.

Having said that, yesterday was Sunday, and many of us take our holidays very seriously because we have worked hard for six days a week with great results to show.
We do need much-deserved rest, but Saturn does not really subscribe to that line of reasoning.
Factual and actual are the keywords when it comes to Saturn.
I spoke about some of the most vital points of Saturn yesterday in a truly spiritually charged but challenging environment, with storms brewing up and warnings of an imminent earthquake as well as a cyclone.
That is in yesterday’s post, and I hope you will take the time to read it and view the video so that tomorrow’s ritual is not just another function that leaves you drained and coming late the next day, instead of spiritually charging you and taking you to the next level.

By the way, if you connect with the real people and ask around, I have dismissed the entire cricket teams for zero runs as well as one run!
But despite being capable of doing that, even today, I think about my coach and understand the sheer gravity of his recommendation, and I am glad I didn’t resist and took it as an order.
Having a hierarchy sets many things right, and that is one of Saturn’s good virtues.
Stop putting yourself in prison and expecting others to be in the same prison in the name of love.
If you are truly love and DIVINE, have the courage to be pure and free, and then the magic will be there for all to see!
