D+ Anger= Danger
Moving on Anger is a powerful emotion. It even becomes an effective weapon in the hands of the right person.
For most of the majority It is a force that defeats and destructs and Most don't even experience anger lest alone handle it.
So first Understand the difference. Anger is not irritated( most folks are in this zone) , upset, Harangued, flustered, defiant- None of these are anger.
Exercise 1: Try to run the above cited emotions in the mind.
For example not getting food on time may make you irritated or standing in the line changing currency notes can make your flustered, Not recognized by a Senior at work place can make you upset and so on. You get the drift.
What is Anger
Anger in its purest form leads to force being applied on the person/ agency making you angry.
That force most often is a physical force. Contradiction action to it is a bigger force and that means that the individual is bound by a higher force or something and this is even more dangerous. For example you want to hit a person with an object but something makes you shout and throw the object on the ground.
Remember I said above D+ANGER= DANGER
A chemical cascade and a dangerous emotional explosion.
Ok I would like you to imagine an explosion on a mountain.
The Primal Instinct
The Endocrine gland responsible for Anger is flight or fight hormone secreting gland called as the Adrenals.
When you are really angry adrenaline is pumped into your blood stream and instantly the signal is given to your body to redirect all blood from your GUT region to your Muscles and the Mind. Remember that tight knot like sensation in the Gut. That is fury the ultimate action.
What are physical symptoms- Increased heart beat, palpitation, Dilation of eyes, frothing or excessive drying of saliva, high blood pressure and sometimes death.
Now apply the imagination of explosion in your body.
Your Body is exploding with Adrenaline- Its on fire. Not very Good- So what happens to counter and keep you safe is the secretion of the stress hormone cortisol.
Imagine your body on a big fire and then somebody pouring a huge amount of cold water and ice on it.
You get the point- Violence needs Violence, force needs force- Result- On the physical body you start to become Old and Ugly because your body has been attacked and is under total onslaught.
Imagine what small adrenaline and cortex crests and troughs are doing to your body everyday.
A bigger take away: Try to consciously stay away from this raw emotion. You might be a subtle and sophisticated individual reciting and contemplating on higher ideals and texts but your cannot guarantee the same for the other party. You never know their primal response. Instead of a crashing of that oh so priceless Ming Vase it can be a Skull.

I have spoken about the 9 personality types earlier but when it comes to social and family matters let us know the conversational personality types- At least some of them
- You are a speaker
- You are a Listener
- You are neither- You are an exister
- You are More Speaker and Less Listener
- You are More Listener and Less Speaker
- You are equal speaker and equal listener
- You are on neutral distant territory, more observant, opportunistic types
- You are not a direct participant but you like to add fuel to the fire.
- You are the negotiating diplomatic kinds whose aim is to extinguish the fire.
Exercise 3: Reflect on the above 9 types of conversational personalities and imagine some of the situations in your life.

Danger- Stage Two. Danger of death, destruction, or division.
Gangers- Stage three- Trying to gain support of others for your cause against the adversary
Endanger- Stage Four- All that is worthwhile is endangered
Strangers- Both experience the fire of fury and then decide to be strangers.
