And that was the beginning of a blessing.
On this International Father’s Day, I receive a message from a man who once lived on the edge of the underworld—Michael Franzese, known as the Prince of the Mafia, now a reformed soul and servant of good.
His words—simple, direct, yet soaked in history, tears, and transformation—are not just birthday wishes. They are echoes.
Echoes from a lineage of power, pain, repentance, and the possibility of rebirth.

So wish all a very Happy Father’s Day and this lets me address a question that was posed to me 2 weeks ago:
Am I a good father?
In a single word-NO-I AM NOT A GOOD FATHER.
Why?
My own benchmark of being a Good Father is my own Father. I just cannot be him in fact if i draw a comparison myself-
I Am a severely flawed man. but yes i am
A Man
A Father
&
Sometimes I make you win when you should lose.
But despite all my flaws, shortcomings and failures-My children all over the world still call me
PAA GURUJI
Lovingly and affectionately . That also is a blessing of my Father and the supreme Father-God.
That even non biological kids see me as their Father is a huge honour but carries tremendous responsibility for me.
But i do not check marks on the modern list of items that describe an ideal Father
But yes,
I GET THINGS DONE
From Mafia to Moksha
Today, I reflect not just on my own journey as a mentor or guide—but on what it truly means to be a Father.
Not merely one who creates life…
But one who protects, provokes, and prepares—sometimes in silence. Sometimes with fire.

And if you’ve never had someone like that…
Know that even now—you do.
My heart, my sanctuary, and my way… is open to you.

Because sometimes, the only person holding the broken family together,
is not the man in the chair—but the soul who knows when to bless, when to forgive, and when to transform.
That is the job entrusted to me by the God- the Father. To keep broken individuals & broken families together.
