There once was a traditional Kung Fu school — so ancient and rigorous that only the maddest or the most sincere ever dared to apply.
One boy entered.
For five full years, he trained like a man possessed:
Lifted buckets with his eyelids, or rather filled with ice
Did crunches on nails,
Meditated, trained, toiled.
Finally, he stood before the master and asked:
“Guruji, why am I not better yet? Why am I not the best?”
The master looked calmly and asked:
“Do you see that beautiful sky?”
“Do you see the twinkling stars?”
“Do you feel the cool breeze?”
“Do you see those four geese flying?”
The boy smiled, proud: “Yes, Guruji… I see it all!”
And the Master dropped the mic:
“That’s your problem.
You’re seeing everything — except yourself.
You’re doing everything — without truly being anything.”_
The True Message — Don’t Be a Conceited Disciple, Be a Concentrated Seeker
Concentrated = 12
Conceited = 9
In this particular case
12 radiates.
9 retracts.
One transforms.
The other performs.
