Well, that is the gist of today’s post as I rode a gem of a machine that is supposed to scorch the road, which it did once the steering wheel was in my hands.
At the International Motor Show, I became the first to test.drive the legendary 911 GT3 RS — a machine born in 1973, now pulsing with 510 PS and screaming to 9000 RPM.
For exactly three minutes, I didn’t drive it—I listened to it. In that communion, a cosmic truth:
“If everything seems to be in control, you’re not going fast enough.”
In that space of controlled chaos, I found not control—but consciousness.

Then the Cosmos Aligned: A Private Screening of F1
Later, at Bangkok’s ICON CINECONIC — invited by insiders — I watched the now‑released F1 movie, starring Brad Pitt in Dolby Atmos.
Pitt portrays Sonny Hayes, a once‑legendary F1 driver who returns after a 30‑year absence to mentor a rookie—Josh Pearce—and save a struggling APXGP team .
Hayes becomes both coach and compass:

It was not just a test drive. It was a test of will, vibration, and vision.
At the International Motor Show, amidst the glare of cameras and the humming pulse of machines, I was invited to be the very first person to test drive the Porsche GT3 RS at max speed and max capability— a beast with a 9000 RPM redline and a legacy that began in 1973.
For exactly three minutes, I drove this engineering marvel. And in those 180 seconds, a revelation arrived:
“If everything seems to be in control, you are not going fast enough.”
There is power in speed, but there is greater power in awareness at speed.
A 21 year old kid came rushing to me at the end of the test drive and asked
Gosh- where did you learn to drive like that?
My answer:
Has sent him back to the practice track.
