On 9th Feb 2021 Guruji Shrii Arnav wins the Jothida Navaratna ( The Navaratna amongst Astrologers) in the Namakkal District Welfare Association- Astrologers Conference in Namakkal Tamil Nadu on 9th Feb 2021.

Awards & Media: “Yesterday I was awarded the Jothida Navratana ( The navaratna / The auspicious 9 Gems amongst Astrologers) By the Namakkal District Astrologers Association - Tamil Nadu for research, contribution and making public aware of the power of Gem Therapy, Astrology, Spirituality and for writing the book The secrets of Jyotish Gems.”  Said Guru Shri Arnav .

The award was received by Keshavan C Ranjan on my behalf.

There was a congregation of around 200 learned astrologers under one roof who presented their various findings and research to an erudite audience.

Me and awards and media usually do not gel well. I have been awarded with perhaps every single title like Maharishi, Martand and what no way back in 1996-1997 but I found most of these award functions to be pretty pedestrian. They put shawls on one another, give awards to one another, praise each other, eat and go home.

And some of the recipients are pretty suspect too. So I avoid these like plague and politely say NO.However this award function was different. The quality of presentation and the skill levels of respected Astrologers are something to be admired. I wonder what would happen if these learned men got on youtube- They don't have time for that. One of the popular participants is a great talented Astrologer who correctly predicted about the IPL results.

One of the great Astrologers back in the day was so popular in India & Malaysia that close to 90% of the flight to Kuala Lumpur and back used to be booked for his Yajamanas( clients) and he would utilise the flight time for consulting his clients( This was combined with pilgrimages and temple visits etc) That is busy.. That is innovative.. that is faith and that is success.

I made it to national media- TV Today, India Today, Times of India and Deccan Herald way back in 2003.

The way it disrupted my Sadhna Schedule- spiritual regimen- I said NEVER again and have remained reclusive as far as main stream media is concerned.

Today in the days of social media Gemstone universe has a reach of 1.6 million- 4 million monthly depending on the kinds of posts we run (stats of 2020) and I am very pleased to share that our reach is higher than a regional newspaper biggie and in last decade or so we have never sold a single product on our social media handles.

We try our best to share knowledge, educate and empower and our community loves us for that.

That being said- I am thankful to NAWA, Federation of Astrologers and most importantly my readers and those who entrust their faith in me for the honour and the love they bestow on me.

This gives me renewed vigour to serve the ancient sciences and spirituality with the right spirit. A Humble Thanks once again and obeisances to the Almighty for his grace.

A special word of gratitude for Keshav Ji who made an eloquent presentation about the power of Jyotish Gems and answered many FAQ's and Shariyar Mehkeri for being a facilitator and educating and informing many of the interested participants more about Jyotish Gems. A Good Start to the day Indeed!
