Examination of Heart Condition before recommending Ruby for Gem Recommendation.

The Fascination in the world of Gemstones is never ending

The journey of a Gem is fascinating. For most people it isâ€¦ Gem is mined, sent for cutting and polishing and then comes into the market for selling. Seems quite simple but not usually so!.

It might be just one of the cases but in many cases gem or rather gems travel through forests, mountains, passing through hands of militia or similar sounding creatures or statesmen â€¦intimidating and influential power centresâ€¦ depending on the way you look at it.

A gem may find itself in a night club or a worldâ€™s financial centre or an auction house or in a nondescript house in a village or the sanctum sanctorum of a temple! And in these travels the gem involves and interfaces with complex people, situations and characters. Gems have such a value and power that is capable of changing governments and power structures.

To get that elusive gemstone you might end up in the worldâ€™s hottest place, or one of the worldâ€™s coldest mountains, in a corporate boardroom, a seedy night club or a small tea stall in a village depending on your sense of adventure or the feverish obsession to obtain it. There are gems that are used as collateral’s to secure loans to execute large scale projects like building a national highway or a bridge. The fascination with whys, howâ€™s and wherefores in the gem business is never ending.

In the year 1998, I read a book that changed my life. That book was Ruby & Sapphire by Richard W Hughes. It had a huge impact on my life, and the way I started looking at gems changed radically. As I searched more about Richard and heard about his adventures I was deeply inspired and aspired to do something that is as game changing as his seminal work – Ruby & Sapphire. The sense of adventure heightened in me and I have traveled to such places and been in such situations in search of that elusive gem that no man even in his wildest dream would want to be in. In retrospect, I still wonder if it was a dream or reality!

Destiny and gems have strange and powerful effects. Â What has to transpire has already been scripted.

On the eve of Christmas in 2012, I was in a city to appraise one of the worldâ€™s most expensive and finest gems. (But of course, details are the absolute god in situations like these, and therefore the details of the gems and places remain undisclosed). After the appraisal was over, I sent over a text message to Richard asking if it would be possible to meet him for a chat. Since the answer was in affirmative, we ended up in a restaurant for lunch. As we enjoyed our lunch over general chit chat the subject of the gem that I had come to appraise and value came up and what followed made me think that this meeting was not just about lunch, or meeting a friend. Richard gave me some information that was exclusive to him about the said Gem and I gave him some information that was exclusive to me. Collectively together we now had information that by the end of the meeting had changed the appraisal value by 3000%.

Later in the day, upon solitary reflection, I gathered that the aim of every war is peace, quite an irony!

New beginning â€“ a speck in the unceasing waves of time where hope for better events, opportunities and personal progress is there. Though we continue to live the same lives, same patterns, it is this speck in the eternity of time that gives individuals courage to start afresh, make amends, do better, climb higher, change things and possibly acquire a wee bit of newness ourselves.

Every day you traverse a day in your life, thousands of moments, some significant and others that go into making the significant ones are breathed. A day may seem a very short period but what you do today has ramifications way ahead into time and into multiple lives.

As the New Year dawns, (well 2012 has been touted as a phenomenal year with doomsday prophecies and all that) I wish you tremendous enthusiasm and fire to Do More! And therefore BE more!

It is world that thrives on action. Dreams and intents are no doubt what sparks action, but this year push yourself and translate those dreams into actions. Fire the cylinders and get the machine going. Do not count how many miles you have travelled, for itâ€™s an onward journey. Donâ€™t get flustered if the destination does not seem in sight.

Deeply Incapacitating Planetary Positions and

How to overcome living a compromised life and negative emotions using Gem Therapy and remedial measures!

My initiation into the study of Astrology was because of my Vedic Guru who motivated me to learn this science â€“ the light of knowledge for the precise reason of accurate diagnosis of limiting planetary combinations. It involves correct recommendations of remedial measures to bring in desired positive changes.

Even though after my Vedic diksha, I was initiated into Tantra and Dhyana (Meditation) by my Tantrik Guru, it was my intitation into Jyotish (Astrology) proved to be invaluable.

My Vedic Guru had said ,â€ Yes, accumulation of Gyana (knowledge) , removal of ego , meditation and mantra Japa (chanting) Â is a medicine that will work for anyone but in what time frame and how much suffering could it alleviate â€“that is suspect?

It was him who later said – Learn Astrology and find out the accurate cause of Karmik suffering and then give an individual medicine. It will work faster, more accurately and bring peace to the tormented soul. Donâ€™t give the same mantra to everybody. Each personâ€™s suffering is unique and so should be the remedy.

Today, I find that lesson invaluable wherein my major interest lies in the diagnostic and the statistical part of Astrology more than the predictive part.

After interacting with so many human lives, I have come to the conclusion that there are some planetary positions that indicate severe negative karma and are typical in their results. The pain caused by these positions is immense and even the person suffering them cannot tangibly explain and quantify the pain.

These planetary conditions cause restriction and lead to severe compromises in the quality of life and other human interactions. They need to be remedied with the correct mix of measures that bring in desirable changes.

Only in these conditions, exceptions to the basic rule of planetary friendship can be made and contradictory gemstones can be worn and that too after analysis of several charts and combinations. One has to be very cautious in the implementation of these remedies.

The top six limiting and incapacitating planetary conditions are:

1) Moon in Scorpio aspected by malefics/ in a challenging house- Living in Illusion- Do I want to live?

The sacred text says-Chandrama Manso Jaataha– The moon is the significator of mind and the intellect. This is the position where moon becomes powerless and is debilitated.

A painful combination in the horoscope wherein the effects can be felt every 2 and 3/4 days when moon makes a transit in another sign.Â Periods of normalcy followed by acute depression and loss of energy followed by normalcy again and then a period of being extra sensitive, agitated or temperamental!

Half of the life goes in suffering these negative mood cycles and half of the life goes in recovering. What is then left?

Physically it can give common cold, cough, congestion and frequent migraine like headaches.

This is the position that causes one to be restricted and afraid. A lingering feeling of fear stays with the individual. Deep seated traumas eat up the peace. Negative events in life keep coming back like monsters. There is self doubt about oneâ€™s ability.

In extreme cases this is the position that gives suicidal tendencies and needs to be rectified as soon as possible. This position makes the individual think that the whole world is against him or her. Lack of correct decision making, lack of sticking to one path and deep pain caused by negative relationships makes the life very painful. I have found that this is the singular position wherein maximum failures creep in remedial measures. Either incorrect remedial are adopted or correct remedial measures are abandoned.

The emotions given by this position are:

– Embarrassment

– Doubt

– Shame

– Disrespect

-Lack of Self worth

– Depression

– Suicidal tendencies in extreme cases

– Inferiority complex

– Easily offended

– Feeling of being unclean due to lack of removal of traumatic events and people in life

– Giving too much importance to the views of the people around them and carrying the negative feedback throughout the life. Feeling of being let down.

– Becoming reclusive as a self defence mechanism to not to get hurt.

– Imbalance in relationships and lack of love.

The moon represents the water element. I have noticed that in 90% of the cases individuals with Moon in Scorpio position drink very less water. One method of bringing in improvement is to increase the intake of drinking water.

Remedies:

– Wearing of a Natural pearl– It is an absolute must in this position and brings in a tangible difference in the quality of life. Even though moon is debilitated, one needs to cure it by wearing a Natural Pearl, especially in the case of suicidal tendencies. However, this should be implemented only after consultation with an expert Astrologer.

– Increase the intake of drinking water.

-Meditate on Lord Shiva and chant the Shiva Panchakshri Mantra: Om Namah Shivay for 108 times daily.

The above remedies will give good results. Individual specific remedies may change due to the combinations made by the moon the chart such as Moon Rahu or Moon Ketu conjunctions.

2) Mars in Cancer- I am in a prison!

Mars is the planet of energy, enthusiasm and vigour. Cancer is the sign of the gentle moon and Mars in this position gets debilitated and powerless. The single result of this planetary position is Claustrophobia. Many of the results indicated by Moon in Scorpio, including suicidal tendencies are observed in this position.

Physically it can give anaemia, frequent headaches, leukoderma, Leucorrhoea and fear psychosis.

Some other negative emotions observed in this position are:

– Feeling of being controlled

-Manipulated

– Fear and Anxiety

– Frequent Guilt trips

– Feeling of being used or misled

– Violated and scared

– Lack of trust

– Confusion

– Feeling of being mocked at, made fun of

– Being overruled, distrusting and cynical

Naraka Chaturdashi/ Kali Chaudas or Roop Chaturdashi is the 14^th day of the Hindu month of Kartik, the day just before Deepawali. The day is celebrated to commemorate Krishnaâ€™s slaying of the demon Narakasura who had tormented the human beings for long.

Lesser known fact about this day is that, this auspicious day is an occasion when one can seek divine intervention for acquiring beauty and magnetism. Of course, some spiritual sadhanas can be performed for the same but with the guidance of a preceptor.

Every Hindu festival has rational logic to it and so does the festival of deepawali. The dhanteras festival is celebrated to acknowledge the importance of wealth or financial well-being.

The next day Roop ChaturdashiÂ is designated so as it reminds one that maintaining onesâ€™ body in a good state and keeping it beautiful is not a sign of vanity but is the done thing. One may not publicly lay premium on superficial beauty, but the desire to look good and exude charm is present in every heart. Â It is in fact a celebration of good health and a reminder to pay attention to this body which is the ultimate tool/ agent of fulfilling the purpose of this life. Taking care of self is usually low on the priority list of individuals.

It is considered auspicious to wake up before daybreak and bathe. The individuals dress well, in new clothes and women adorn themselves with ornaments and flowers (do the solah shringaars). Lord Krishna is prayed to this day and the mantra â€œOm Namaha Bhagvatey Vasudevaayaâ€ can be chanted.

The old story that goes with this day is thusâ€¦A sage once decided to completely devote his life to god. He surrendered his five karmendriyas, five gyanendriyas and 11 minds to God and thus entered into a state of Samadhi. Sometime lapsed and the sage came to temporarily. Much to his dismay he saw that his body had been taken over by insects and tiny organisms and his hair were infested with lice.Â He sat severely disappointed when Narad Muni happened to pass by. To him, he lamented, â€œMy good Lord, I had intended to dedicate my austerities to the almighty, to lead my life in complete devotion to him. However, what has happened to me is something I cannot deal with. I never wanted such decadence to affect me.â€

Narad Muni said to him, â€œMy man, the dedication that devotion requires is well understood by you, but what you do not yet understand is that the earthly form is a blessing in itself and requires to be cherished and preserved.â€ He then explained the importance of the 14^th day of Kartik Maas to the sage and instructed him to go about certain rituals. The sage did so and was returned his beautiful human form in all its health and glory.
