Very Glad to receive Warm Greetings From His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinaire U Moe Kway Aung-Ambassador of Myanmar to India, Iran and Bhutan.
It is indeed special that HE is responsible for diplomatic relations between 4 countries.
Myanmar better known as Burma has been most famous for its rubies for thousands of years.
The Famous Mogok Rubies especially the Coveted Imperial Pigeon Blood still command the highest prices and are the most rare. I have written about them.
Does the famed/ infamous Valley of Death Exists- Yes Indeed it does.
Fate took Sikandar Mahan- Alexander the Great to it in the greed of Rubies much against the advice of His Great Master- Aristotle.
Alexander went back empty handed and dead.
Many years ago I had reviewed a good authoritative Work On Mogok. This would be a Good starting point for budding Gemologists to Get some appreciation of this mythical land where dragons still might Exist,
