Yesterday was an interesting day at Gemstoneuniverse.com. A patron who had recently ordered a gemstone report from us was recommended an Emerald. This patron called us back and said that he was happy to receive a detailed report from us and that some other consultant from a different organization has recommended him an Emerald using some auric healing technique. That brings us to the first question:
How does one read auras long distance over the internet?

This consultant also said that Zambian Emerald gives much better results and a Colombian Emerald does not give results. The consultant also went ahead to say that they have a 5+ carat eye clean Zambian emerald for around USD$(3 figures). Whoa!
Excuse us, we are not blind. Even if we get a Zambian Emerald that is eye clean that is 5+ carats we are targeting a price point of $(4 figures) per carat in whole sale or directly from the mine and not a $3figures for the full gemstone.
Colombian Senors and masters of the world gem trade are you listening. This gemstone was being made available to this patron and patron asked us –Is this true?
Well we did some research and apparently found out one gracious patron who asked us is my emerald Jyotish Quality. Â Have a look at the picture that he sent. This was made available by the same consultant and this consultant graded this gemstone as Eye clean.
100% Non Jyotish Quality Flawed Emerald from Zambia. No light is passing through the Gemstone
We tried to see all angles of this gemstone and unless 12 individuals have some serious problems with their eyesight we can say this is a 100% flawed, non Jyotish quality, flawed emerald. It is a bluff stone.

Citrine is basically Yellow Quartz. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the earth crust while the first one is Feldspar. Citrine is nowhere related to Topaz, though to make a fast buck traders sell citrine as Yellow Topaz. Yellow Topaz is valuable and is mentioned in the sacred texts for use as a Jupiter Gemstone.
Unscrupulous dealers have given false name for Citrine so unaware buyers think they are buying more valuable Topaz. Citrine and Topaz belong to two different families of gemstones.
In the Indian subcontinent citrine is sold under the false name of Golden Topaz and as a substitute for Yellow Sapphire. Nothing can be more farther from the truth. This gemstone which is also known as Sunela/ Sunhela in the local language gives very poor results when it is used as a substitute for Yellow Sapphire. Most commercially available citrine is artificially heated Amethyst or treated quartz.
This gemstone should best be avoided as a Yellow Sapphire substitute. Yellow Heliodor gives far better results for planet Jupiter. Yellow Topaz, Imperial Topaz, Golden Topaz are Yellow Sapphire alternatives and give excellent results. All insist on a certificate for the same.
Our statistically collected data shows that individuals who have used Heliodor/ Yellow Topaz/ Imperial Topaz as a Yellow Sapphire substitute have got very good results.
Citrine though is a beautiful gemstone and has tremendous healing potential and has its importance in crystal therapy.

Today we got an offer from a so called Gem Merchant offering these bluff stones what he classifies as Rubies. Offer price $250 for 1 Kg( 5000 carats!). Are we joking?
No Sir, the above stones are faceted dyed poor quality Rubies and this is what that is available in the name of Ruby for planetary purposes in 99.99% of outlets/ vendors.
Now imagine the economics behind this transaction. Suppose someone invests $250 and purchases 5000 carats of these bluff stones  and sells it at $5 per carat/ INR 250, this person stands to make $5*5000 carats=$25,000/-. Phew! That is pretty cool eh! Normally in the Indian Sub continent this stuff gets sold at around Rs.800-Rs.1000 per carat. Approximately $ 20 per carat. That makes the return go to $100,000 and profit of $99750/- for an investment of $250.
Even if someone’s adorns himself/ herself with 10,000 carats of these bluff stones they will not get any result. A 50 cent tiny  natural Burma ruby will act as a Turbo Charged Missile if we compare it to this stuff.
We have issued it in public interest. This same bluff ruby is available on popular Astrology and Auction websites for $50 per carat. Please help us stop this gross abuse.
