This is because Diamond works more by refraction than by reflection. However the aperture underneath the Diamond should be open for full movement of light. The Diamond should be slightly mounted for best results. For planetary Jyotish Purposes Diamonds give very good results in 14k gold, 18k Gold, White Gold and Platinum as compared to Silver which is more of a moon element. Many websites that say that Diamond should be worn in silver are poor cut and paste jobs. Diamonds are quite expensive. This exquisite and scintillating Bangle is for our very special patron who started Gemstone therapy in the year 1999. From that time on till now she is a fan of gemology and has today has in-depth knowledge about Gems and gemology.
