Acceptable Colour grades for a Diamond for Astrological purposes: D, E, F, G, H
In General H colour grade is acceptable only in rare cases and in weight range of 1 carat and above
Acceptable Clarity grades for a Diamond for Astrological purpose: FL, IF, VS1, VS2, VVS1, VVS2
Even though the above two parameters will take care of majority of inclusions, the things to absolutely avoid are reddish tints, inclusions that resemble the claw of a crow, inclusions that resemble a spider’s web. These are simply unacceptable from a Jyotish Point of View.
