This biogenic red Coral is formed by the Coral polyps and is of marine origin. The scientific name of the precious Red Coral is Corallium Rubrum. It is harvested anywhere at the depth of 10 meters to 300 meters in the seas. However, if there is a water current then the depth where it is found can be greater.

Also notable is the fact that the organic white coral is generally found deeper in the seas than the red coral.
