Featured today is a natural, unheated ruby from Mozambique of 1.08 carats set in 22-karat gold as a Sun talisman. The oval shaped gem as a deep vibrant reddish pink color and has great clarity. Note that the symbol of the Sun sits in relief on the shanks.
