The Strike was called off Yesterday-19th March 2016 and we will rush to fulfill your orders. India Jewellers Strike entered the 7th Day today. The Indian Jewellers are striking against to protest against the 1% increase in excise duty on Jewellery. This strike that was originally intended for 3 days is continuing even now.<\/p>\n

This situation arose on Feb 29th<\/sup> When the Union Finance Minister levied the 1% excise duty on Jewellery in his budget proposal.<\/p>\n

In addition to the above the Jewellers are also protesting against the mandatory quoting of the PAN numbers of Indian Citizens for purchases made of INR 2L\/USD($) 2975\/-<\/p>\n

Due to the above situation there is a complete closure of bullion markets and all sectors in the Jewellery trade are facing a closure right from bullion traders to bench jewellers and workmen. The most affected group are the artisans who are suffering the most.<\/p>\n

\"Indian<\/a> Indian Jewellers Strike Notice 2016<\/p>\n

As per the directive of the Jewellers Association Bangalore Gemstoneuniverse Boutique Store<\/a><\/em> in Bangalore as well as the workshop are closed until further notification by the Jewellers Association and the respective trade bodies.<\/p>\n

Patrons who have placed orders after February 29th<\/sup>, 2016 will have delays in shipment of packages due to the above situation.<\/p>\n

As soon as the strike will end we shall resume normal operations and expedite making your rings\/ pendants and eventually will ship your package.<\/p>\n
